About the group

The Charlie Bravo DX Group started back in the summer of 1999, amongst a small group of friends located in and around the City of Brighton & Hove.

During the solar cycle peak of 1998-2000 we were very active and had a full club running with use of a P.O. Box which we offered to our members for a small yearly fee - this was to cover costs of the expensive P.O. Box! also we asked members to send us in a few self, stamped addressed envelopes so we can forward on any QSL cards etc.

 

We had members from all over the country.

 

After the solar cycle had been and gone, and internet & mobile phones became the 'normal' - CB radio died around the Brighton area.
We then disbanded until recently when we decided to start up again due to the increase in popularity of CB radio and pmr.

we look forward to making the charlie bravo group a friendly radio club for all to enjoy once again.
